How to Apply for AZILG Scholarship

Candidates must complete the on-line application form to be considered for the scholarship. The link is: https://   ——————-

Instead of submitting an essay about the impact of homelessness on your life and your educational goals, we are requesting you provide a short video. It can be as simple as a cell phone recording. The video should be between one and four minutes. The style and content is up to the applicant but should (at least) address one or more of the following topics:

  • What do you want to achieve with the scholarship funds (what program, certification, or degree will you pursue)?
  • What is your experience with homelessness?
  • Does your life experience influence your education goals?
  • Why are you a good candidate to receive this scholarship?

The video may include members of your family or others but please do not submit a video of other people talking about you. You should be the narrator and “star” of your video.

You must upload your video to YouTube with the hashtag #AZILGScholar in the actual video and in the description. You must share the link with us when you fill out the application. You must agree to allow AZIG to post your video on our website and in connection with other marketing material.
